Photography can do many things, but above all else, photography captures moments
and makes them into memories—which is where California based photographer Melisa Kayaer
and Kayaer Media truly specialize. A lifelong photographist, Melisa has both a wealth of formal
education and hands-on experience when it comes to capturing moments of love, triumph,
beauty and adversity through her lens. Shooting with both digitally and with film, Melisa has had
her work featured in several esteemed publications including Tube Magazine, the Sacramento
News and Review and the LA Times. While she expertly shoots fashion, live music, portraits
and pets, Melisa has also photographed protests and other more gritty elements of urban life,
with shots that span the entire spectrum of emotion behind the human experience. Ultimately,
photography is not only her livelihood, but her life’s passion, and she strives to capture the
uniqueness and emotion behind anything in front of her lens.
